Format my computer

Currently I am working on formatting my computer. Once format and I will start working on Oracle 18c. Start with the installation blog of Oracle 18c, after installation have a work on database creation on 18c, after the installation and database creation of Oracle 18c I will start for exploring a new feature of Oracle 18c

Install Oracle Linux 7 in Text mode

Start Virtual Machine

Drive the Path where Media CD located.

Start the installation

Press the tab button and append the text key word at end  and hit Enter

Enter Esc to skip the media disk check

  

Enter 1 to select Time Zone

My India Hence selected 6 (Aisa) and then 39 (Kolkata)

Enter C to continue

Kolkata is in India beautiful city

select 7 to set root password

Type yes as my password is password which not so secure as I'm doing test installation

Press C to continue

Press B to begin installation 

Press enter once all RPM install for minimal configuration 

This will reboot the virtual machine 

Login as root and get started with Linux 7

It's bit different from Linux 5 and 6 but its very simple and ease to absorb

Create New Virtual Machine in Oracle VirtualBox

1.       Click on New

Enter the Name of Virtual Machine  Ex oracle7

Type : linux

Version: Oracle (64-bit)

Put sufficient Memory (2G/2048 Mb ) enough

Click Next

Select Create virtual Hard Disk now

Click Create

Select default VDI type

Click Next

Select dynamically allocation

Click Next

Increase the 56 GB of disk

Click Create

New Virtual machine created

We can customized by click on setting

Go to Audio tab

Unchecked enable audio

Check Network setting or can be leave as it 

Unchecked USB

Oracle Virtual Box ready for action.

Window 10 upgrade giving me mixed feeling

Hi All,

Don't know what I done.
Theme and functionalilty make me happy.

But with now in 5 minute I had encounter 2  bugs so far
1) With VirtualBox
2) Xming

Don't know  how much application I have to face.

But theme is really cute.
